Away from India

Being away from home is one of the most bugging things in life. It gives you so many things to take care of; responsibilities you'd be proud if your child had, but really not interested in having them yourself. It is said that it transforms a boy into a man. But for people like me, who've already been through this transformation it doesn't really matter
Language is a small barrier, not because I do not know Japanese. I infact know japanese very well, the only problem being that the people here do not know the Japanese that I know! I know numbers from ippon to nihon(thanks to the innumerable number of tequila shots that i had on new years eve when i was here last time), then I know arigato, and I also know a bunch of expletives which play a vital role while interacting with my people here. Honestly, I can understand japanese as good as i speak persian, very well provided it is spoken when i am too drunk. Whether I learn to speak japanese fluently or not I've started teaching them english.
Houses are generally too spacious, giving the picture of a Rashtrapati bhavan (minus the rooms, balcony terrace and the bathroom) . But here, they are very well furnished. Though the rooms are small, we generally do not face a problem since Arjun Singh has not yet introduced reservations in this segment. If that happens, I'll have to keep one leg outside while taking bath I believe. And then one washing machine per floor, which 25 of us use till the coil burns or the clothes are torn apart.
It is supposed to be spring season here in tokyo. It was infact raining heavily when I landed here and continued to do so for a week, after which the meteorological department played spoilsport. They predicted extremely heavy rainfall here from the 1st of may. The rains stopped on the night of 30th April. Since then, the sun has been shining brightly as if the heads of thousands of Deve Gowdas are being used as reflectors here. I strongly recommend to countries all over to stop investing the money in Met Dept and instead start a dating forum which would be a lot more profitable. Or it can even be used for other useful purposes like teaching Arjun Singh simple mathematics - percentages in particular.

If its any consolation, the last time we went to Kiva they played the worst music i ever heard there. And i was standing at the bar for 45 mins before i got a place to sit.
