Death quick and calm as it may come
Yet calm, rejoiced, I am with her nearby
Comfortably wrapped warmly in a quilt
As the cold wind hits the window panes
Here i lay with my thoughts so secure
Feeling not a pang of guilt for the past
With a loved one so close by
Yet calm, rejoiced, with her at my side
Accompanying me at the wee hours
with shattering dreams tearing my sleep
only to wake to a feeling of hate and anger
Yet calm, rejoiced, with her at my side
Hopes of a future wanes as the light fills
For she exists only in darkness
Though have never seen her eye to eye
Yet calm, rejoiced, with her at my side
Naked she shall be as the dead ones
She raises and sinks fast through the sea
Leaving the time we spent to mere memories
Yet calm, rejoiced, with her at my side
